Not your typical remote work week.

Embark on a transformative remote work tour and redefine the boundaries of your workspace. Explore breathtaking destinations while fostering productivity amidst stunning landscapes. Immerse yourself in diverse cultures, balancing work and adventure to create an unparalleled remote working experience.

This is an informal chance to venture outside of your current remote work set-up. Let’s connect (and work) in a new city, shut our laptops at 5pm (or earlier) and explore our new surroundings together. A chance to relax and recharge. We’ve been working from home for the last four years; let’s change the scenery.

Here’s what you need to know!

  • Your Spot

There are 3-4 spots available per city. The dates of the trip will be decided based on the schedules of those interested in participating.

  • Dreamy Accommodations

We will be staying in a shared space/vacation rental (Airbnb). Each co-worker will have their own bed. How this works: 1. I price out an Airbnb 2. you send your portion of the payment 3. You’re booked! Lodging deposits are non refundable.

  • Let's Co-Work

This isn’t a vacation (moreso like the best work week you’ve ever had)! We will be co-working in a shared space. Co-workers will be responsible for their own transportation to-and-from the selected city.

  • The Elephant in the Room (Covid)

Covid, RSV and the flu are still a thing! If you are feeling sick prior to the trip, let’s chat about the situation before you land!

  • What to Expect

Each city has their own unique tourist attractions. We’ll shut our computers after a day of work and head out to a few restaurants, grab drinks, sing karoake - whatever the city’s vibe permits.

  • Interested?

If you’d like to join me, fill out the form below. We’ll talk dates, budget, interests etc. offline. A deposit is required to reserve your space. Payment plan options are available.

Brandi Mebane (your host)

Brandi Mebane, Mebane Design Studio Owner and Lead Designer, centers creativity and thoughtfulness in all of her work. Brandi did not arrive at a career in graphic design via a traditional route, and this is perhaps what makes her work so distinctive. With a B.A. in Journalism from Temple University and a M.A. in Publication Design from University of Baltimore, Brandi merges her experience in content development with her technical and creative design skills to bring cohesive and visually stunning brand identities to life. After working in various communications and creative roles, Brandi ditched the traditional career trajectory and launched her own graphic design business in 2016. In that time, Mebane Design Studio’s success has been marked by projects such as the team branding for Delta AirLines’ LaGuardia Terminal rebuild project, The Nielsen Company African American trends report social media toolkit, and Cream of Nature’s Color Crush Live event and their Essence Festival social creative. Over the past 4 years, Mebane Design Studio has helped over 150 businesses generate income, share a talent or service with the world, or create an opportunity for their communities.

Listen up.

Here’s a little music to listen to while you fill out the form below! If you know me, you know I LOVE music. So expect a compliation commemorative playlist in your inbox after every trip (as well as a shit-ton of photos).
